When it comes to profitability and precision, everything is in favour of the BÖGRA gravity die casting. Standard achievable accuracy pursuant to GTA 14 according to DIN 1687 allows reduction in additional processing in most cases, or no processing at all. By using sand and/or steel cores, we are able to reproduce even the most difficult structural parts with intersecting contours and drillings.
For gravity die casting, component weights range from 10 grams to 30 kilograms.
From the materials point of view, the gravity die casting procedure is particularly suitable for:
- Aluminium – and nickel-aluminium bronze
- Brasses and high-strength yellow brasses
- Chromium and high-conductivity copper
BÖGRA precision gravity die casting offers the following, depending on the alloy and the intended use:
- Exact and process-free surfaces with extreme contouring accuracy,
- High mechanical strength properties,
- Optimal corrosion resistance,
- Equally high conducting capacity, also for large machined parts
BÖGRA gravity die casting is used for example in the electrical industry, for pumps and sanitary ware, power engineering and for printing presses.
